The course will cover:
- Passing, setting, blocking, spiking and serving
- Coaching skills
- Gameplay
- New Drills
A Level 2 Coaching accreditation is required to be considered as head coach for our junior and youth state teams.
A Level 2 Coaching accreditation (L2 Associate minimum) will also shortly be a requirement for:
- Coaching willing to engage with the Junior Development Program as of 2024;
- Coaching a team in the Tasmanian State League;
To attend the Volleyball Australia Level 2 Associate Face to Face Coaching Course, you must complete the following prior to registering.
Please note, your registration will be rejected if the following is not completed and you will not be able to attend the course.
1. Be a current member of your State or Territory Volleyball Association.
2. Be an accredited Volleyball Australia Level 1 Coach.
3. You must complete the Australian Sports Commission Community Coaching Essential Skills Course and attain the Certificate of Completion.
4. Completed the following "Play By The Rules" and "Sport Integrity Australia" modules and attain the courses Certificates of Completion:
At the completion of this course, you will gain your Volleyball Australia Level 2 "Associate" Coach Accreditation. To upgrade to a Level 2 "State" Coach, you must complete the following steps after the course.
