Fees and Payment Details:

Please contact the program director for payment details. If you wish to pay the program fees for 2017 early, you can do so now.
TVA fees are due by 21 March 2017. An invoice will be issued when players return their medical form, which will include payment options. Training packages available as follows:

$350 Black* membership (full senior) – includes:

• TVA program fees (15 TCE points, training top, strength & conditioning)
• Player registration with Volleyball Tasmania & Volleyball Australia (+public liability & personal accident insurance)
• 1 x season fees for Southern League (club-based competition, normally Spring season)
• 1 x entry fee for Tasmanian Open tournament

$220 Red* membership (returning junior/ senior) includes:

• TVA program fees (training top, strength & conditioning)
• Player registration with Volleyball Tasmania & Volleyball Australia (+public liability & personal accident insurance)
• Free junior competition on Friday night/ Friday night training

$100 Junior introductory* membership (Grades 6-8; this offer is to welcome first time junior athletes and is valid only in their first year of the program) includes:

• TVA program fees (+training top)
• Player registration with Volleyball Tasmania & Volleyball Australia (+public liability & personal accident insurance)
• Additional training / Free junior competition on Fridays

COURSES OFFERED

All athletes are invited to have a trial in our development programs. Download a welcome letter here.

Previous program participants have represented their schools at the Australian Volleyball Schools Cup (largest secondary schools event in Australia), represented Tasmania at the Australian Junior Volleyball Championships, received AIS scholarships, played for Australia and even gained professional international contracts!

Training sessions:

Junior/novice training: Wednesdays 4:00pm - 5:20pm. Offered to all first year applicants.

Strength and conditioning: Thursdays 4:20pm - 5:20pm. Athletes will develop speed, power, flexibility and general strength during these sessions specific to volleyball. This is a girls and boys combined session.

Volleyball Technical training: Thursdays, 4:00pm - 5:30pm. This session will be with the program coaches on-court and will cover all aspects of the game.

TVA/ADP Volleyball advanced: Thursdays. Offered to all advanced students from grade 10 to 12.

Technical Training: Thursdays, 5:30pm-6:30pm. Allows athletes to undertake advanced training for skills and gameplay strategy, undertake activities to prepare themselves physically and mentally for regular competition. This is a girls and boys combined session.

Volleyball Pathways

The Tasmanian Volleyball Academy offered at Elizabeth College allows players who are aspiring to play representative volleyball to develop all aspects of their game. The Academy aims to develop athletes socially, physically and mentally to be the absolute best they can be. Our training culminates the opportunity for all program participants to represent Tasmania at the Australian Volleyball Schools Cup held in Melbourne every year in December.

*Ex-students have represented Australia in both indoor and beach volleyball, receive AIS scholarships, play in the Australian Volleyball League and gain professional international contracts.
