JDP 2022 News and Update

The past year witnessed our programs grow beyond our expectations and it quickly became obvious that we were attracting a large influx of players from many different age groups, who had a range of abilities and expectations. It also became evident that it would be highly unlikely that we would be able to travel anywhere due to COVID and that we would need to provide alternatives for our growing numbers.

Appointment of our Executive Officer

Volleyball Tasmania officially welcomes the appointment of Isabella Duffie as the new Executive Officer, game development and administration.

CHANGE to Volleyball Australia Online Coach and Referee Course

All Volleyball Australia Online Education Courses hosted on the Fortix Online Platform will be discontinued from Tuesday 7th December 2021. This includes: - Volleyball Australia Level 1 Coaching Course - Volleyball Australia Level 1 Referee Course - Sport Australia’s Intermediate Coaching General Principles

Dear Volleyball Tasmania members: We are doing so well in Tasmania stopping the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. Many of you will now have read and heard recent announcements about further removal of Stage 3 restrictions from 12pm today (26th June). This includes a move to Level C of the AIS return to sport framework, which permits full training and competition.
